Addressing the complexities of workforce exclusion in Australia
Beyond Supply and Demand is a research paper on the Anglicare Australia network’s evidence of what works for people excluded from the workforce.
Its findings are that we are most effective when we recognise the person – and their goals and ambitions – at the centre of exclusion and acknowledge their circumstances, and the barriers and challenges they face.
A paper on Beyond Supply and Demand was published in the Journal of Social Inclusion, a peer-reviewed academic journal that will contribute to current knowledge and understanding of the social processes that marginalise individuals, families and communities.
The Journal of Social Inclusion is published biannually under the guidance of an International Editorial Advisory Board. It is an initiative of the School of Human Services and Social Work, Griffith University.
