In this submission, Anglicare Australia welcomed the Bill’s provision to extend the 15 percent worker retention payment for eligible ECEC workers until 30 June 2028. We also called on the Government to provide adequate and ongoing funding to ECEC services to ensure that workers receive fair wages over the long term and that ECEC remains a viable sector where passionate educators can build lasting careers.
