The Second Action Plan is an important opportunity to improve efforts across all sectors to eliminate violence against women and children, strengthen implementation and ensure national resources are directed towards areas where they can achieve the greatest impact. Throughout this submission, Anglicare Australia calls on the Federal Government to strengthen its focus on primary prevention and early intervention, while improving coordination across all relevant sectors. A more connected and effective response system is essential to ensure that no person seeking support for DFSV falls through the gaps and we progress towards the national goal of achieving a society free from DFSV.
