This Act strengthens the ability of families and communities around Australia to lay foundations for child development that lead to lifelong learning, increased engagement, and better outcomes in health, employment and education later in life. Anglicare Australia has long advocated for the removal of the Child Care Subsidy activity test, and we welcome the provisions of the Act which guarantee three days of universal early childhood education and care.
