Anglicare Australia supports the Government’s ambition to design a more coordinated, flexible and coherent system for families and children’s programs. However, we are concerned that several elements of the proposed model risk falling short of that ambition. Without a stronger focus on inclusion, diversity, local need, and the rights of children, and without clear transition planning, there is a risk that families will face disruption rather than improved support.
