The Anglicare Australia National Awards for Excellence and Innovation began in 2000, to recognise the innovative and professional work of the member agencies and volunteers in the delivery of services to people in need; and draw attention to new, innovative approaches and programs being implemented within the Anglicare network.
The Awards program affirms the contribution of Anglicare agencies to the health and wellbeing of not only individuals, but also Australian society.
The awards program is run annually, with nominations being called for in May. Winners of the awards are announced at the Anglicare Australia National Conference in September each year.
