This position is funded by Anglicare SA and will be employed directly by St Barnabas’ Theological College (SBTC). The key focus of the role is to develop mission based training courses for people and parishes engaged with their local community, and courses for people working in faith-based organisations, and to facilitate the delivery of these courses.

The training courses to be developed are of two main types: (1) Session based courses in a range of mission areas with a focus on practical community engagement and other areas of interest to both organisations (e.g. Christian theology in the public square, Loss and Grief, Family relationships etc.), and (2) Session based courses for the professional development of staff in faith-based organisations in the areas of Christian identity and ethos and the links between theology, spirituality and the workplace.

Courses you develop will range from short one-off sessions, to weekly sessions over a number of weeks, to intensive courses over 1-2 days.

You will be responsible for the collaborative development of subject materials, recruiting and managing presenters, advertising, promotion, administration, and course evaluation.
