Senior Residential Youth Worker

Location – Katherine

Closing Date – December 21 2011

12 month contract, providing staff support and oversight of day to day operations at the Katherine Alternative Care Service. This position involves 24/7 shift work in a home like environment for children and young people in the statuary care system aged 8 – 14 years. The service is designed to support the Department Children & Families family reunification and foster care respite measures.

 

Senior Case Manager/Accommodation Broker

Location – Katherine

Closing Date – December 21 2011

12 month contract, providing case management, staff support and creating 24/7 small scale accommodation options for homeless young people in Katherine. The position oversights a small team dedicated to working with young people to assess individual needs, identify the potential for family reunification and where relevant and appropriate
accommodation responses such as placement in a 24/7 accommodation option, an independent arrangement or within a private household.

Case Manager ‘Moving on’

Location – Alice Springs

Closing Date – December 21 2011

Full time 7 month contract to June 30th providing targeted After Care support, information, referral and case management services and brokerage assistance to eligible young people and young adults (16 – 25 years of age) who have exited or are leaving the statutory care system. This service works closely with the Department Children & Families and other youth service providers to ensure comprehensive, timely and coordinated assistance is available.

 

Youth and Family worker : ‘Reconnect’

Location – Palmerston

Closing Date – December 21 2011

Full time 7 month contract to June 30th. Provides youth focused family friendly practical early intervention assistance to young people at risk of early home leaving/homelessness. Works with families, services, schools and the community to strengthen responses to the 12-18 yr old target group.

Saver Plus Worker

Location - Darwin

Anglicare NT is seeking a motivated and ethical saver plus worker.  Your role will be to assist Saver Plus participants establish a savings habit, build their financial knowledge and skills and save for their children’s or their own education.
