John Roffey Memorial Lectures
The John Roffey Memorial Lecture is delivered each year at Anglicare Australia's national conference. The Lecture honours the outstanding contribution of the Revd Dr John Roffey to Anglicare Australia through his leadership in the formative years of the network. His broad vision for the church and for the engagement of the church with society and people was an inspiration to all he met and worked with. At the time of his death in 2001, John Roffey was CEO of Anglicare SA and a member of the Anglicare Australia Council. The John Roffey Memorial Lecture focuses on the relationship between theology and social policy.
