2009 Conference
2009 Conference, Auckland - New Zealand.

20 September to 23 September 2009
Hyatt Regency Auckland
Cnr Waterloo Quadrant & Princes Street
AUCKLAND
NEW ZEALAND
Holding the Anglicare Australia conference in Auckland gives us the opportunity to further the friendship between agencies across the Tasman.
The theme 'Global Trends, Local Voices' allows us to share our local and individual responses to the trends and issues facing us across the globe. These responses and issues; voices and trends are with us in every area of service; children and young people, communities, cultural services, aged care, poverty; indeed in every area in which we have the privilege to serve.
We are all mindful of the global trends, but it is time to listen to the local voices, to develop solutions to give new hope. So come along to Auckland and meet old friends and new and explore the global trends and develop local voices. I do hope that you will be able to join us in New Zealand and I look forward to welcoming you to the conference.
Mr Ian Carter AM
Conference Chair
